Aqara Water Leak Sensor for Smart Home Automation

An Aqara Hub is required and sold separately. (Note: Hubs from other brands are not supported.) For Hub M2/ M1S/ E1/M1S Gen2 and Camera Hub G2H Pro/ G2H, a secured 2.4 gigahertz Wi-Fi network connection is necessary, while Camera Hub G3 requires 2.4/ 5 GHz Wi-Fi. (Wi-Fi 6 is not supported. Hub M2 also supports wired connection via Ethernet RJ45.) Additionally, please connect the Aqara Water Leak Sensor to the Aqara hub before connecting to Apple HomeKit or enabling skills in Google Home and Alexa.

To ensure a sturdy connection, the Aqara Water Leak Sensor should be within 400 inches of the Aqara Zigbee hub, and the hub should be within the same range from the Wi-Fi router. Furthermore, make sure the hub and the router are on the same local area network (LAN).

Whenever the Aqara Water Leak Sensor detects water, it can send an alert to your phone and activate the local alarm on the Aqara Hub, helping to prevent leaks and flooding.

The Aqara Water Leak Sensor can also control and trigger Aqara connected devices when excess water is detected, enabling home automation.

No wiring or screws are required for the Aqara Water Leak Sensor. Its ultra-mini design allows you to place it anywhere that dripping and leaking could occur. The sensor is designed with sensitive leak probes, with a water level threshold of 0.5mm.

The Aqara Water Leak Sensor features an industry-leading quality, with a durable IP67 water-proof housing and a rust-proof exterior coating. Before use, please remember to pull the battery tab out.
