Resideo RWD42 Water Leak Alarm with Sensing Cable (Non-WiFi)

In a home, the threat of a water leak is always lurking, whether it's just a small drip or a full-on overflow. The Water Leak Sensing Alarm can be your front line in water defense, as it can be placed near high-risk areas for leaks, such as bathrooms, laundry rooms, basements, and faucets, and will alert you with a loud audible alarm as soon as water is detected.

The alarm offers EXPANDED DETECTION capabilities, allowing you to detect water with sensors on the unit or expand coverage with the included 5 ft. water sensing cable. The additional length makes this alarm ideal for surrounding appliances or using in larger areas such as utility rooms.

When any portion of the sensor or cable detects water, the alarm will sound an AUDIBLE ALERT of 100 decibels, alerting you to the potential leak. The entire cable senses water, allowing you to surround water heaters and sump pits, run it under sinks, behind refrigerators, and under dishwashers. You can even EXPAND COVERAGE by purchasing additional cables to cover an even larger area - up to 250 ft.

Using the alarm is SIMPLE, as once the batteries are installed, you simply insert the sensing cable into the cable sensor jack on the bottom of the detector and place the detector so that the cable is positioned where leaks are most likely to occur.

The alarm is also REUSABLE, as it can be reset for re-use once the alarm sounds. Simply dry off the leak detector, clean up the water, and replace the batteries.

The water leak alarm provides a LOW BATTERY REMINDER, with a chirp alert to let you know when it's time to change the 2 AA batteries (not included).

The detector can be placed flat on the FLOOR OR WALL MOUNTED, and for wall mounting, you can use the double-sided tape (included) to adhere it to a dry surface. This water leak detector is for INDOOR USE ONLY and is a non-WiFi unit that will notify you of leaks via an audible alarm.
